Dr. Yuan Zou earned his PhD of vehicle engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2005 and worked as a faculty at Beijing Institute of Technology then. His research interests include new energy vehicle system dynamics and control, especially ground vehicle hybrid propulsion modeling and optimal control and the battery storage modeling and estimation. He worked in hybrid powertrain modeling and control at University of Michigan Ann Arbor and at ETH Zurich. He publishes more than 30 journal papers.
