Jeffrey Cook
Jeffrey Cook is an Adjunct Research Professor and Intermittent Lecturer in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and Adjunct Professor and Intermittent Lecturer in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor MI. From 1976 to 2007 he worked at the Ford Motor Company, Scientific Research Laboratory, Dearborn MI., where he held technical and management positions in the United States and Europe. He is a Fellow of the IEEE.
In 2007 he received the Distinguished Service Citation from the Automotive Hall of Fame. He is a recipient of the IEEE Control Systems Society Control Systems Technology award and holds 26 United States patents in automotive technology. His research interests include modeling and control of automotive powertrain systems, model-based systems engineering and embedded software development.
