Prof. Jie Tian is the Director of Technical Committee of Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence of Chinese Society of Automation. He was awarded the National Outstanding Young Scientist Research Fund in 2002. His research interests include the bio-information, medical image processing and analysis, and pattern recognition. He has published over 100 papers, and filed over 10 patents. He received the Award of 10 Great CT Progresses of Asia in 1998 and Award of Scientific and Technological Progresses of Beijing in 3D Medical Image Processing in 2002.
