Meeting of TC 6.4 : July 25, 2026 at IFAC WC 2026, Busan (Korea)

Agenda:

1. Opening remarks by the outgoing Chair and formal handover to the incoming Chair.
2. Review of the current TC 6.4 SAFEPROCESS Board structure, including outgoing and incoming officers, previous responsibilities, and proposed new appointments or role confirmations.
3. Review of the current TC 6.4 membership, including active members, possible renewals, new nominations, early-career involvement, geographical balance, gender balance, and links with industry.
4. Short report by the organisers of the forthcoming SAFEPROCESS 2027 Symposium, including current status, main deadlines, IPC/organising structure, special sessions, outreach, and expected TC involvement.
5. Review of recent and upcoming TC 6.4 activities related to IFAC events, including SAFEPROCESS symposia, IFAC World Congress contributions, invited sessions, technical co-sponsorships, and possible joint activities with other IFAC Technical Committees.
6. Discussion on strategic priorities for the new term, including fault diagnosis, fault-tolerant control, safety, resilience, explainable and trustworthy AI, digital twins, autonomous and aerospace systems, energy systems, and industrial applications.
7. Publications, dissemination and visibility: journal special issues, survey papers, newsletters, TC website updates, and communication of TC activities.
8. Planning of future TC Board meetings, including frequency, format, and possible coordination with major IFAC events.
9. Any other business and closing remarks.
