TC growth in 2008-2011

SIGNIFICANT EXPANSION OF TC 7.1 IN THE TRIENNIUM 2008-2011

During the triennium 2008-2011, the IFAC Technical Committee 7.1 Automotive Control has incremented the number of members from 91 to 117. Particularly relevant is the growth in Asia, passing from 9 to 21 members, with 6 new members from China. In terms of affiliations, the increment is mainly due to a greater number of members from universities (from 65 to 89), while also industrymembers have grown from 26 to 28. Another significant aspect is the increasing presence of Junior Members, introduced in 2009, and now representing about 10% of total members. Tables and graphics are available at this link.
