Working Group 2: Large Scale Complex Networks

Focus:
The WG aims at analyzing the global behavior and developing efficient modeling, control and optimization strategies for large scale complex networks which widely exist in human daily's life and are not easily handled by classic LSS theory and algorithms due to the complexity both from very high dimension and from complex network topology. It is also interesting to compare the research topics and methods in current complex network field with that in the classic LSS, and possibly, to promote the complex network research by use of the early LSS concepts and results. Focus will be particularly paid on methodologies and strategies. Various complex network systems,such as social, communication, traffic, biological, power, sensor etc networks, provide typical application backgrounds.
