The summer school is organized in cooperation between the Johannes Kepler University Linz in Austria, the University of Lund in Sweden, the Politecnico di Milano in Italy, Honeywell, Ford and the Austrian Center of Competence in Mechatronics in Linz.
The summer school intends to provide PhD students with a combination of generic methodological information, specific engine and vehicle knowledge and a practical automotive application, in order to allow seeing the full development process needed for such an integrated approach.
It is organized with four elements: methodological overviews, system overviews, reported applications and practical applications in labs.
