Chalmers University of Technology

Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden, is now seeking assistant professors in 8 strategically identified areas. Each position comes with a generous support package affording a PhD student, relocation, a leadership programme, mentoring and more. Several of the areas are related to automotive control. The successful candidate will conduct research within the area of advance, in line with the intentions described in the application. The position will be placed at the department of her or his choice. The assistant professorship is a 4-year full time position starting in 2010. The position includes at least 80% research and at most 20% teaching within relevant areas. After two years the assistant professor’s state of progress will be assessed. 

Required qualifications: Applicant must have a PhD degree,  earned not more than five years before the application deadline. Exceptions will be made for parental leave, military service or similar reasons.
