Dr. Denis Gillet is currently the Head of the Coordination and Interaction Systems Group of the Electrical Engineering Institute at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). His current research interests include Technologies Enhanced Learning (TEL), Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Devices Interaction (HDI) and Optimal Coordination of Complex and Distributed Systems, with applications to online engineering, intelligent transportation systems and diabetes therapy. Denis Gillet has been pioneering the implementation and the usage of remote labs in control education and is now the technical coordinator of the European integrated project Go-Lab focusing on introducing inquiry learning with online labs at school. He is Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Learning Technoloigies (TLT) and of the International Journal of Technology Enhanced Learning. Denis Gillet is affiliated at EPFL with the Transportation Center and the Center for Digital Education.
